MINE PULLERS
|

|
| When a landmine is located and uncovered it is not always possible to destroy it in situ as it might cause damage to the environment in its immediate surroundings. It is also dangerous to attempt lifting the mine manually as booby-traps and anti-lift devices may cause it to detonate with disastrous effect. The mine puller has therefore been designed to be securely (and safely) clamped onto the mine, and the specially designed fulcrum bar then allows the operator to easily and safely pull the mine from its location using a 50m rope attached to the fulcrum. |
